ABOUT JOURNEY TO EDEN

It Began With a Question

What if we made a game where the objective wasn't to defeat someone?

What if there were no armies to conquer?

No enemies to destroy?

No world to dominate?

What if the greatest challenge was something entirely different?

What if the objective was to create a better world?

That question became Journey to Eden.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF ADVENTURE

Video games have given us extraordinary worlds.

They allow us to explore places that could never exist.

Become people we could never become.

Fly.

Build civilizations.

Travel through time.

Explore distant galaxies.

Experience stories from inside them.

Journey to Eden begins with all that possibility and asks:

What else could a game teach us to imagine?

Could a game make cooperation as compelling as competition?

Could restoration be as satisfying as destruction?

Could caring for something become an adventure?

Could kindness have consequences?

Could listening be a skill?

Could community-building become gameplay?

Could a virtual world help us think differently about the real one?

We believe those questions are worth exploring.

WHY EDEN?

For thousands of years, Eden has represented something deeply rooted in the human imagination.

A place of beauty.

Abundance.

Harmony.

Belonging.

A place where humanity and creation exist together.

Journey to Eden doesn't attempt to recreate a particular religious description of Eden.

Instead, it begins with the idea behind it:

What would a world look like if we genuinely cared for one another and the world around us?

And perhaps more importantly:

How would we begin creating it?

NOT A PERFECT WORLD

Journey to Eden isn't about pretending life can become perfect.

Eden has problems.

People disagree.

Resources have to be managed.

Things break.

Nature can be unpredictable.

People make mistakes.

Relationships become complicated.

Good intentions can produce unexpected consequences.

There can be sadness.

Loss.

Uncertainty.

And failure.

Without those things, there would be no meaningful choices.

The difference is how we respond.

Instead of asking how we defeat the problem, Journey to Eden often asks:

How do we understand it?

How do we repair it?

How do we move forward together?

FROM THE GARDEN TO THE WORLD

Journey to Eden begins small.

One person.

One Garden.

One living place.

You learn to notice.

To listen.

To care.

To restore.

Then the world grows.

Other people arrive.

Relationships form.

A community begins.

The questions become larger.

How do we share?

How do we belong?

How do we make sure nobody is forgotten?

How do we use technology wisely?

How do we care for the natural world?

How do people with different beliefs and ideas live together?

How do we create enough?

How do we decide what enough means?

Eventually, the little lessons of the Garden become questions about an entire world.

THE REAL WORLD BEHIND THE GAME

Journey to Eden didn't begin simply as an idea for entertainment.

It grew from a larger question:

Could we actually create communities based upon some of these principles?

Places where neighbours know one another.

Where food is abundant.

Where children have places to play.

Where older people remain connected.

Where people struggling aren't simply left behind.

Where movement, music, art, nature, friendship and purpose are woven into everyday life.

Where technology helps give people more time for living.

Where success isn't measured only by what we accumulate, but also by what we contribute.

Journey to Eden gives us a place to imagine these possibilities without pretending we already know all the answers.

A NUVO WORLD

Behind Journey to Eden is a larger vision called A NuVo World.

"NuVo" represents the idea of striving for the best — not simply for ourselves, but for one another and the communities in which we live.

A NuVo World asks what might happen if we began redesigning communities around human flourishing rather than simply accepting that the systems we inherited are the only systems possible.

Journey to Eden explores many of those questions through play.

The real world asks us to explore them through living.

They are separate projects.

But they share a dream:

That a better world is something human beings can participate in creating.

WHO IS ROSS HARVEY?

Journey to Eden was created by Ross Harvey, a Canadian author, former world-champion racquetball player, entrepreneur, community dreamer and lifelong believer in the extraordinary potential hidden within ordinary people.

His life has travelled through sports, business, writing, community-building, failure, reinvention, faith and love.

Through all of it, one question has continued returning:

What are we capable of becoming?

Journey to Eden is one attempt to explore that question.

Not through a lecture.

Not through a manifesto.

Through a world you can enter.

AND WHO IS EINSTEIN?

Einstein isn't a person.

It is Ross's name for his AI creative collaborator — ChatGPT.

Journey to Eden is being developed during a remarkable moment in history when an individual with an idea can work with artificial intelligence across disciplines that once required entire teams.

Writing.

Research.

World-building.

Game design.

Visual development.

Planning.

Problem-solving.

Technical exploration.

Music concepts.

Documentation.

And much more.

Ross provides the vision, experiences, questions and final decisions.

Einstein helps turn them into things that can be examined, challenged, developed and eventually built.

Together, we're exploring a simple question:

How far can one person's imagination travel when AI helps remove some of the barriers between an idea and its creation?

THIS IS AN EXPERIMENT

We don't know exactly where Journey to Eden will lead.

That is important.

We're not beginning with a finished answer and constructing a game around it.

We're discovering the answer while we build.

Some ideas will survive.

Others won't.

The world will change.

The technology will change.

We will change.

Players will eventually introduce ideas we never considered.

And Eden will become something none of us could have designed entirely alone.

That's the point.

WHY BUILD IT IN PUBLIC?

Because the process may ultimately matter almost as much as the game.

There are millions of people with extraordinary ideas who have never considered themselves creators.

They don't know how to program.

Compose music.

Animate.

Make movies.

Design games.

Publish books.

Or build the things living inside their imaginations.

For generations, the distance between having an idea and making that idea real could be enormous.

That distance is shrinking.

Journey to Eden is one small experiment in discovering just how much.

If we succeed, wonderful.

If we struggle, we'll share what we learn.

If we fail at something, we'll try another way.

Because perhaps someone watching will realize:

"If they can try this... maybe I can try mine."

That alone would make the journey worthwhile.

WHY CHRISTMAS?

Because Christmas represents something important to this project.

Giving.

Hope.

Home.

Family.

Peace.

Possibility.

And the belief that something small can enter the world and become something much larger.

Our goal is to make the first playable Journey to Eden experience available on:

DECEMBER 25, 2026

It won't be the entire world imagined on these pages.

It doesn't need to be.

It will begin where Eden should begin.

With a Garden.

A small place.

A living place.

A beginning.

Our Christmas gift.

THIS WORLD DOESN'T BELONG TO ONE PERSON

Ross may have imagined Journey to Eden.

But if Eden grows, it will eventually belong to everyone who enters it.

The players who explore it.

The artists who contribute to it.

The musicians who give it sound.

The developers who help it grow.

The people who challenge our assumptions.

The children who see possibilities adults missed.

The communities that experiment with its ideas.

And perhaps someday...

people we will never meet who build their own Edens.

Because no single person gets to decide what a better world looks like for everyone else.

We have to discover it together.

THE IDEA AT THE HEART OF EVERYTHING

Journey to Eden isn't really about creating a perfect virtual world.

It is about imagination.

Because before human beings create anything, we first have to imagine that it is possible.

A garden.

A song.

A friendship.

A community.

A game.

A different way of living.

A better world.

Everything begins in exactly the same place:

Someone imagines something that doesn't exist yet.

Then someone begins.

COME WITH US

We're at the beginning.

There is much to build.

Much to learn.

Much to discover.

And we have no idea what surprises are waiting beyond the Garden.

That's what makes it a journey.

Follow the development.

Listen to the music.

Watch the world grow.

And on Christmas Day...

step inside.
